The service period for voluntary
workers in Rome is from 12 tol 20 August 2000.
Volutary workers should attend a
training course which includes a monthly meeting which started in October 1999 ending in
June 2000 and a week-end in spring 2000.
Voluntary workers will first of
all be assigned to a welcome cnetre in the parish district or in the parish itself
according to the general needs.
All parish priests have received a
card for registering voluntary workers and a presentation letter from the Cardinale Vicar.
Whoever wishes to do voluntary work must fill in a photocopy form of the registration
card. The presentation letter specifies the exact period of the voluntary service
required, whereas the period marked in the card is wrong. Therefore the voluntary
worker in Rome must correct the date at the time to filling in the form.
