INCONTRAGIOVANI :a "littleWYD" has always a place in the front row
The term, catching and immediate, has been coined especially for the occasion and promises to be one of the most successful initiatives of this GMG 2000. Incontragiovani means all those moments of community participation, planned for the afternoon/evening of the 16, 17 and 18 August, to satisfy, as they say, all tastes, with a vast variety of events, theater, music, dance, of all kinds, and moments of prayer animated by different communities and led in different styles. Everything has been planned by young people from all over the world, (suggestions cane from all over by the French and the Spanish in particular showed great imagination) for other young people from all over the world who will converge on Rome for the GMG. Incontragiovani is also the Roman version of the Festival of Youth organized in Paris 1997. "A winning formula...should not be altered" perhaps this is not quite how the saying goes but it renders the idea: The point of departure then will be the same, but our programme has come to include so many events that a whole year was needed to organize it, well of course. The appointment is August 16 at 4pm and as every day it will continue until about 11pm, but of course there will be many other meetings at the same time and seeing the choice is wide and varied how to choose the right place and the right time?
