The World Youth Day flies into all the blue skies of the whole world thanks to “Ulisse 2000” the official magazine of ALITALIA, which dedicates to the event of the WYD a long article. A reportage, of Ulisse 2000, from which derive a thousand faces of the great jubilee event that will take place in Rome, from the 15 to the 20 of August, speak of youth from all over the world. 

The long article talk about the programme, the organization of the means of transport, about food, about celebrations and about many appointments which build up the “path” for more than a million of youth who will meet in Tor Vergata to celebrate the Saturday vigil  and the Holy Mass on Sunday together with Pope John Paul II, who fifteen years ago, wanted the celebrations of the World Youth Days.

“According to me, in the world of the youth- Navarro Valls goes on in the interview - : one can enter only a door: the door of authenticity, a value to which the youth is really sensitive. Evidently  the Pope can communicate this authenticity.” The syntony between John Paul II and the youth has gone around in every continents, thanks to his travels also for the former World Youth Days. Youth from all over the world will come even  for the WYD2000. At least 120 countries will be represented, including delegations of other religions.
