Walking for a month from the 14th of July. They’re 200  walking across four regions, leaving from Castiglione delle Stiviere, near Mantua, till Rome. They’re  bringing the Cross of the World Youth Days, that was brought in several Italian dioceses which will arrive on  the 10^th  of August. The initiative of the Mantua diocese and the National Service for the  youth pastoral, who will be put together 200 young people from several groups as the Cross will be close to  Rome step by step.

Themes

Everyday will be dedicated to a different spiritual theme. From Monday to Saturday every evening for 4 weeks there will be a moment of common prayer, that will find together pilgrims and communities, that will receive the Cross . “Sunday will be the day of the eucharistic mystery, Monday will be dedicated to the meaning of the Vespers the organizers explain-Tuesday to the reading of the God’s World, Wednesday we’ll wander about the symbol of the” Creed”, Thursday will be dedicated again to the “Eucharist”, Friday to  the “penance” and to the joy of the “reconciliation”, while  Saturday will be the day when we’ll pray to Mary”.

Meetings

 During the juorney touching Lombardia, Emilia Romagna, Toscany, and Lazio, families and churches will give hospitality  to the youth. There, they will be able to take rest and to celebrate together with the local communities in joy of encountering. In some dioceses the arrival of pilgrims bringing the Cross will be the chance to celebrate the "Diocesan Youth day" and to visit  some important Italian sanctuaries.

The Path

At the begining  they will be only 20. Between the breaks, going across Lombardia, Emilia Romagna, Toscany, and Lazio, other 200 young people will be brought together around the Cross of the Youth Jubilee.  This is the path: on the 14th of July Castiglione-Medole, Medole-Grazie on the 15th , Grazie-Guastalla on the 16th, Guastalla-Correggio, on the 17th, Correggio-Modena 18th, Modena- Vignola on the 19th, Vignola- Samone, on the 20th, Samone-Castel d’Arano, on the 21st,Castel d’Arano-Poretta Terme, on the 22nd, Poretta Terme-Pistoia, on the 23rd, Pistoia-Montelupo fiorentino, on the 24th Montelupo fiorentino-Voltigiano, on the 25th Voltigiano- Poggibonsi, on the 26th Poggibonsi–Siena, on the  27th, Siena-Buonconvento, on the 28th Buonconvento-Sant’Antimo, on the 29th and 30th Sant’Antimo-Vivo d’Orcia, on the 31st. In August, when Lazio will be nearer for the young pilgrims, they will do the following path: Vivo d’Orcia-Abbadia S. Salvatore on the 1st  of August, Abbadia– Acquapedente, on the 2nd Acquapendente- Bolsena, on the  3rd Bolsena-Montefiascone, on the 4th Montefiascone-Viterbo, on the 5th Viterbo-La Cura, on the 6th La Cura–Sutri, on the 7th Sutri-Anguillara Sabazia.Anguillara-Giustiniana on the 9th, Giustiniana-Roma on the 10th.
