Looking at the net

The web pages dedicated to WYD2000 are more than 600 in the world: they talk about the theme, the programme of WYD and the various initiatives that dioceses, churches, families and above all, groups of young people organize for the WYD. A month from the WYD, the monitoring of the web gives wonderful results. News about the WYD are more than 1500, and often they are web sites built up by young people who have decided to share their experiences, expectations, and hopes for the WYD2000.

Looking at the web sites dedicated to the Jubilee of young people you can find pages in Italian, in English, in French, in Spanish, in German, even in Japanese, in Czech, and in Vietnamese.

Some curiosities: a web site from Lebanon (www.puslibani.org.lb)  gives lots of news about the WYD and also the history of all the WYDs , meetings with the dioceses and the e-mails of the Arab representatives, who will come to Italy; there is also a web site built up in the Bermudas islands (http://web8108.nxt.net/wyd) that gives news about the programme of the event made by the local dioceses. The web site (www.giovani.org)  of the "National Service of the Youth Pastoral" is really new, animated with unique pictures and rich news about the young world, and about the WYD.
