“L’Infinitamente piccolo..."on ways of pilgrimage

In the middle of the activities for the WYD2000, that interest youth from all over the world who desire to meet the Holy Father, the dioceses of  Rome  are glad to organize the concert of ANGELO BRANDUARDI “L’INFINITAMENTE PICCOLO”, in which several appointments are seen to in “INCONTRAGIOVANI” – a series of manifestations, parties, exchange of experiences between the youth- the show is linked to the figure of St. Francis. It started in the past January with the publication of the CD "L’INFINITAMENTE PICCOLO..."on the way of the pilgrimages”, 11 songs about the texts from the works of St.Francis and it will be a further opportunity to reflect for all the youth of the World Youth Day.

Branduardi tells about his choice to sing about St. Francis: "St. Francis is a man (and so a Saint) who chooces the joy of living, teaches it to his companions... it’ s fascinating: his way of being chearful and his vital energy... I can feel his figure, fragile and extraordinary vigorous, ready to face passions and troubles, poverty, sickness, emargination, environment, his care for “the other” wars...I tried to give again the voice to his words so that one can sing them again.”

The concert in Rome is a part of his European tour which was started on the last 28^th  of May from Ostenda (Belgium), with which he inteds to walk again along the ways of Pilgrimage. For long centuries they have been very important ways of communication for the people in Europe.

During the concert, Angelo Branduardi will sing all the songs of his album “L’INFINITAMENTE PICCOLO...” besides his most famous songs as La collina del sonno, La Luna, Alla Fiera dell’Est, Si Può Fare, Cogli La Prima Mela, La Pulce D’acqua, La Sposa Rubata”.
