380 gazebos will be placed in a variety of streets and squares within Rome, of these some 400 will be located at Tor Vergata covering a total of 70 significant places. 2200 European Scouts, 300 Comunità di sant’Ilario (Reggio Emilia) members, Charismatic Youth will administer and organise the gazebos. The gazebos funded and supported by WYD will act as a point of reference to the participants  attending the event. The gazebos will in effect act as information centres providing relevant advice, answering any queries the participants may have.

In the gazebos two kinds of services will be offered: first of all refreshment centres where water, cold drinks, sandwiches, snack salads and even paramedical products, second badges,  T-shirts, foulards, Cd-card Bible, books etc.

The setting of the gazebos will be organised by the Italian  WYD committee contributing to the running expenses such as reception and basic events costs. 

Let’s have a close look of where you can find those gazebos: Circo Massimo, outside the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and San Giovanni in Laterano, Castel Sant Angelo, Via del Corso, the Pantheon, piazza Augusto, Piazza Santa Maria Sopra Minerva, Piazza Venezia and Piazza Uffizi. However toilets (more than one in a place) will be located where chatechesis and Incontragiovani will be held. At the end of the WYD in all the gazebos will be sold the daily newspaper “Avvenire “ in a very special prize which is 1.000 lires.
