As regard the 15^th WYD the Pilgrim’s Journal  , official newspaper of the Central Commitee of the Great Jubilee, has created new editorial initiatives for the most meaningful event of the Holy Year (considering the flux of partecipants).

So far, during the Holy Year, the newspaper, talking about the jubilar days since the opening of the holy Doors of the patriarcal Basilics,  is been published every two weeks. On August the Pilgrim’s  Journal is published every weeks in usual and special editions. The first special edition in seven languages (Italian, French, English, Spanish, German, Potoguese and Polish) included a million of copies and  was spread  in  more than five hundred points of distribution: all the churches’ secretaries, the places for catechesis and the WYD stores. So all the youth ,who have arrived  in Rome these days, should have taken free the newspaper, including the map of Tor Vergata’s area, the logistics to reach it  and useful news to take part in the event.

An other edition of the Pilgrim’s Journal (free and in seven languages), fully dedicated to the WYD, will be given to the young pilgrims , who will take part in the vigil  and the Holy Mass celebrated by the Pope at Tor Vergata tomorrow and on the 20^th of August. It will contain the welcome to the “Pope’s House” , presented by some journalists, who took part as chonists in the past WYD: nun Anna Maria Canopi, Andrea Riccardi, Dino Boffo and Emilio Rossi. The engagment of the Jornal of Pilgrim for the WYD2000 will go on in the next editions with the statement of the week and the speeches of the Pope.
