The Italian Committee for the 15^th World Day of Youth has also drawn up an agreement with the INA-Assitalia Group to insure all the young people participating in the WDY.  The agreement will be valid throughout the whole territory of Italy, not only in Rome where the World Day of Youth will actually be celebrated.  Together with other services designed for WDY 2000, this will safeguard all those who, in whatever circumstances, are taking part in the event.  All the young people registered for the 15^th WDY, therefore, are insured against risk of civil responsibility towards third parties, and against theft and accident.  They will be covered from 24.00 hours on 12^th August 2000 until 24.00 on 21^st August 2000, throughout the whole territory of Italy.

The policies

-          civil responsibility: this covers participants when they are responsible in civil terms according to the law in matters of compensation (capital, interest and expenses), for damage unintentionally caused to third parties, for personal injury or damage to objects, as a consequence of an accidental happening during the 15^th World Day of Youth.  Other participants in the event are also considered as third parties.
